We've decided that Umbridge was in either Slytherin or Hufflepuff, or she attended Beauxbatons... Sorry if I mispelled that... :) But What about; Fudge, Scrimegour, Quirrell, Lockhart, Moody, Tonks, & other characters that were seldom talked about in past? I'm just curious...

Fudge- Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw
Quirrell - Slytherin or Hufflepuff
Lockhart - Ravenclaw or Gryffindor
Moody - Gryffindor
Tonks - Gryffindor

I don't remember what Scrimegour was like, I feel like a failure
Fudge: Hufflepuff
Scrimegour: Slytherin
Quirrell: Hufflepuff for sure... (A Very Potter Musical influenced my decision)
Lockhart: Ravenclaw
Moody: Gryffindor
Tonks: Gryffindor
Tonks was a Hufflepuff. (It's been confirmed on JKR's website)
Lockhart was probably a Hufflepuff.
Moody was a Gryffindor (I'm almost positive)
Quirell was probably a Slytherin
Fudge was probably a Ravenclaw
Scrimegour was a Gryffindor (Again, I'm almost positive)
Ooooh this is hard. I love how everyone who's replied so far is giving different answers.

Fudge: Ravenclaw
Quirrell: Ravenclaw
Lockhart: maybe Gryffindor, but a potential Slytherin because of his self absorbtion. Also a potential Ravenclaw though... hmmm....
Moody: Gryffindor
Tonks: Apparently it's confirmed she's a Hufflepuff but I would've said Gryffindor
Scrimgeor: Another hard one...... Gryffindor or Ravenclaw.
Fudge - either Griffyndor or Hufflepuff
Scrimegour - I'm thinking Slytherin but not sure
Quirrell - Slytherin
Lockhart - Confused. He pretended to be brave, but he wasn't so not Gryfindor, he pretended to be smart, so not Ravenclaw, he pretended to be loyal, so not Hufflepuff, so most likely Slytherin since tricking all of those people would require cunning and obviously he didn't do good with it.
Moody - I'm gonna say Griffyndor but he could have been a good Slytherin.
Tonks - Griffyndor.
I've found some new information about Umbridge(from http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Dolores_Umbridge), however useful it may not be: "It is unknown which house she was sorted in, but it is speculated that she was a Slytherin due to the favouritism she showed to that house during the 1995–1996 school year."
Fudge's page (http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Fudge) says nothing about even going to school, so I have no idea. However, it sounds to me possible that he actually DID go to Hogwarts, maybe with Dumbledore, and something happened to him there as a child. That's why he hates the school so much. And, if Dumbledore and he did go to school together, maybe they had a little bit of the Severus/James action going on, there, eh? I dunno, just sounds suspicious to me.
Again, no information was found on the Harry Potter wiki about Scrimgeour's (http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Rufus_Scrimgeour) school life. They gave no evidence that he went to school at all. In the Etymology section, though, it states: "Scrimgeour is a Scottish surname that is believed to probably mean "skirmish", from the French escrimeur, meaning "swordsman"." So, if Hogwarts is supposedly located in Scotland, Great Britain, and the Scrimgeour's probably lived in Scotland as well, I think it's safe to say, Rufus went to Hogwarts. As far as his house goes, I would think he would either be in Slytherin (Because he just strikes me as a Slytherin, for some reason.) or Gryffindor (Because it also says on his page: Scrimgeour was, according to Dumbledore, a "man of action", having fought against Dark Wizards throughout his career as an Auror and climbed ambitiously through the Ministry. Which means, he was probably very brave and liked to feel needed, which is Gryffindor.).
Quirrell (http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Quirinus_Quirrell) definately did go to Hogwarts, but, again, there was no House. It did say: "Quirrell usually acted very incompetent and although when he revealed himself as a servant of the Dark Lord, at which time he acted very cold and aggressive, it is possible that he only took on this personality when Voldemort was inside of him, although it is known that he had at least some skill and intelligence before hand." and "Rubeus Hagrid once claimed that Quirrell was a brilliant mind, suggesting that he was an intelligent and powerful wizard." And then gives proof of his skills in Care of Magical Creatures, non-verbal and wandless magic, Transfiguration, Dark Arts, and flying. So, I would say possibly Slytherin or Ravenclaw.
Lockhart's (http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Lockhart) says he was Sorted into Ravenclaw... I'm so ashamed. Lol.
Moody (http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Moody) doesn't have a House, either. It didn't say he went to Hogwarts, but because he chose to teach there, I assume he did. I would also assume, because of his bravery and massive magical skill, that he would be placed in either Gryffindor or Ravenclaw. Both, of which, would be proud to House him.
Tonks (http://harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Tonks) was in Hufflepuff.
Whew! That's a lot of research... More than you really asked for. Ah, well. NerdFighters FTW!

I don't think Fudge is a Hufflepuff. Hufflepuff's value hard work and Fudge ignored Voldemort's return and convinced himself that Voldemort couldn't be back because it was easy.

Scrimegour: Gryffindor... I don't know.
Quirrell: Slytherin or Hufflepuff
Lockhart: Gryffindor maybe? I'm not too sure. Ooooh apparently he was a Ravenclaw.
Moody: Gryffindor!
Tonks is a Hufflepuff (has been confirmed)
