Nerdfighters

Note: If you haven't read the books, you shouldn't be here. And you shouldn't be on this website, or on the internet, or in the world, really. Go read them. Now!

We see a lot of deaths in the books, the major ones starting with Goblet of Fire, I think. (Or was there an important one before that? Can't remember.)

So, yeah, which death troubled you the most? If you can't decide, think in terms of volume of tears cried. Or number of hair strands pulled out in grief.

Cool pic, by the way ;)
I agree! Poor dobby =[ i can't believe people laughed when he died and harry was digging the grave for him. The people sitting behind us at the movies were EVIL! I bet they were deatheaters...just saying
You should've cursed them. Batbogey maybe...
Fred's was definitely the one that hit me the hardest, although Sirius is a close second.

Fred's death pissed me off because:

1. He's awesome

2. it really wasn't need and didn't contribute to the plot

3. almost made me not finish the book

4. How awesome would it have been to finally tell the twin apart, now that the other has a missing ear!

Dobby, all the way.
Except for Dumbledore, Dobby was the only character whose death we saw in detail; and even then, he was the only one who died a death that took long enough for us to get over the shock factor.

In a way, I'm grateful to Jo for not giving us time to grieve every person who died. If she had, I would have landed in the hospital for dehydration for crying so much.
Thanks Jo, even if I kind of hate you for killing Fred.
I don't know; Lupin was always my favorite character. So when he was killed "off screen" (or whatever that would be called in books) I was devastated. Though the movies can in no ways compare to the books, I secretly hope that they will give him a good last fight in the next movie.
I was almost as upset (though in no ways surprised) with the death of Dumbledoor. Fred was the one that caught be by surprise, and I was probably the most sad about (right next to Lupin, that is.)
Yeah, off-screen deaths can be infuriating. It made sense, in some ways, but I feel like he didn't get the attention he deserved as the last of the Marauders.

And yeah, Fred was definitely a surprise. After George's injury, I figured the Weasleys were safe!

Yeah it was like "oh by the Lupin died,"

the saddset was Sirius; I cried.
Second; dobby, (i only cried once at that)
Dumbledoor some twat had already told me about.
Fred (or George) was a shock
Collin Creevy was well done, and it bit.

so that's my five
and for some reason my `c` key isn't depressing so soz if i missed one

I figured dumbledore would happen, Hedwig was hard for me because it symbolized that Harry was no longer a child or sort of the death or the end of his childhood.

there's like 25 deaths in the last book
it was a bloodbath

that many civilians killed Jo Rolling might be indited for war crimes
