Nerdfighters

Note: If you haven't read the books, you shouldn't be here. And you shouldn't be on this website, or on the internet, or in the world, really. Go read them. Now!

We see a lot of deaths in the books, the major ones starting with Goblet of Fire, I think. (Or was there an important one before that? Can't remember.)

So, yeah, which death troubled you the most? If you can't decide, think in terms of volume of tears cried. Or number of hair strands pulled out in grief.

No contest. I almost cried when dobby died. Hedwig was rushed, mad-eye was quick and dumbledore was funny!
You forgot Fred! That was The One for me :'(
Oh, i was talking about the movie there, but your right that was sad!

HOW DARE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  YOU SPEAK OF THE MOVIE?!  YOU ARE A DISGRACE!  AVADA KEDAVRA!

In his defense Dobbys death was more sad for me in the movie than the book. I almost always prefer book. But Headwig was a sad death. Mad-Eye was a meh death, you knew he was fully accepting of it.

I agree, Dobby's death in the movie was more emotional for me, even though I (of course) prefer the books. It's just hard not to cry when the whole theater is crying alongside you...

The movies were great (except for the sixth one) they're better than the attempt at making Eragon. They could have done worse really. If you really have a problem, turn him into a ferret. You can do that since you aren't a Hogwarts professor and he's not a student.

Fred was mine as well. I had to put the book down and I wept for 2 hours straight. They were all sad, but his was the worst. He was my first imaginary love.

I agree. Breaking up Fred and George killed me. At least with Remus and Tonks they died togeher.

Oh good, I'm not the only one who thought it was funny when Dumbledore died... I felt like a horrible person. (I only thought that the movie death was funny though)

I didn't think it was funny, although I didn't think it was sad either. I kinda saw it coming, so it wasn't really a huge emotional moment. In the books that is. In the movie, it was a little funny...

I totally agree. I think it was the way they had him falling down.
