My family was mean to me... Some day in July I got a "Hogwarts" letter before the summer before I started 6th grade. It looked pretty real too! Turns out it was a prank that my mom and dad had set up. :( I was so sad, I actually cried. Perhaps my Magical abilities will bloom later in life.

i'm pretty sure mine's still in the mail. cross atlantic bird flights take at least seven years. i may have to give up hope when i turn 18 next year. i doubt i'll be able to though.
