If you want something academic, this isn't a book but mugglenet have a new podcast called Academia that analyses the Potter books. Haven't listened but I listen to mugglecast and Alohomora and they're both pretty good...

Hope I helped :)

Ascendio - free day pass worth $75!  We are looking for a violinist for "The Tales of Beetle the Bard" which is a musical happening at Ascendio.  If you are a Wizard Violinist that can play advanced high school level music, please please message / email me at caitlin.abbott@yahoo.com.  The pit is 8-10 people, and I'll be the other violinist.  Commitment is July 10th-13th at the Portofino Bay Resort :)  This might be the last HPEF conference, so if you've always wanted to go... here's your chance!  DFTBA <3 Caitlin

Sorry for the blatant self-promotion, but I'm in a collab channel that some of you might be interested in - it's called sevenpartsofawhole- the idea is the each of the 7 sevens of the collab are each a Horcrux, I'm the last day of the week and therefore Harry - anyway, we talk about Harry Potter and nerdfighteria a fair bit.

@Plottoberry If you want something more academic, then I definetely recommend ''the ivory tower and Harry Potter'' - it had some really interesting essays on different topics, though I found it quite hard to read, English not being my first language.

Read and own all the Harry Potter books in German & English. I also choose to learn Latin so I could understand the spells... it was totally worth it!

If you haven't been to Warner Bros studio tour and you can get there, DO IT! It's soooo awesome!

I'm going to  get a tattoo of the 3 stars from the corners of the pages of the US print HP books, on my left foot (:

I think if I were to get a tattoo, it would be The Deathly Hallows!

I think that when my friend, Ashley, showed me the Harry Potter series, it like, changed my life. The connection between Hermione and Ron was like...Im dead...

Best book would have to be all of them, because they're so GOOD!!! Which is your fave book of the Harry Potter series? I'd LOVE to hear!!

Here's a pic for all you potter-heads;
