Comment by Gab Hecate on June 29, 2012 at 8:45am Cameron Andrew, I was in Pottermore from the very start for the extra details that J.K. shared in it. I was quite satisfied with that, and I was quite happy to buy an owl (wished I could've named it though...) and a wand (although I was freaking out during the quiz because I was like 'but my eyes change colour all the time!'). I do wish there would be more games though, because waiting for the second one is long. Someone mentioned Wizard Chess in the comments up there... Or Quidditch, I've already played Quidditch online. Also, I'm a failure at potions so other courses would've been fun. But you're right about the simplicity, although I was fine with it. It would've been nice to be able to strike up conversations with Ron, Hermione, Oliver, Neville, etc. But I'm excited for the Third one, Honeydukes will be glorious!
Comment by Lindsey Garcia on June 28, 2012 at 8:04pm Caroline, I went to the Wizarding World during LeakyCon and it was amazing! I wanted to buy everything.
Comment by Becky Kean on June 28, 2012 at 8:00am No, but I want to go so badly! It's number 1 on my list of places that I want to go :)
Comment by Gab Hecate on June 28, 2012 at 7:59am Hey Caroline E.F., I went November before the last. Basically someone hacked into my head while I was dreaming, built my life's ambition, and let me buy a scarf and a hoody in exchange. Ooh, and added a simulator. I was more excited to have a picture with the conductor then to have a picture with Mickey Mouse during that holiday.
Comment by Caroline Elizabeth Flott on June 27, 2012 at 3:58pm Have any of you been to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando? It's pretty much boss.
Comment by Becky Kean on June 24, 2012 at 2:29pm Hey Johanna, I went at the end of May and had the best day of my life :) It was even more amazing than I ever imagined. Have you been yet? If so, what did you think?
Comment by Johanna Junglert on June 24, 2012 at 1:37pm It's been a couple of months, but I haven't been active here for a good while, but was anyone of you potterhead nerdfighters at the opening of the Studio Tour? :)...I'd love to discuss the event with someone!
Comment by Ben List on June 21, 2012 at 2:05am I'd guess a Dementor takes the entirety of the soul, in an irreversible process. So it'd be a fight between the Horcrux and the Dementor for the soul fragment, and it'd probably be down to the power of the wizard that made it.
Comment by Jaklyn I. on June 20, 2012 at 6:38pm @Avion Just a guess but I think a dementor can only perform the kiss straight from the person and not just a piece. However, if it can perform on a horcrux, it would absorb the soul but, like with other souls, it would just absorb it. It wouldn't necessarily become a horcrux, otherwise it may became a horcrux for every soul it has collected.
This is just what I think. Awesome theory though!
Comment by Avion Phillips on June 19, 2012 at 8:00pm hey i was wondering..
if a horcrux contains a fragment of a soul
could a dementor perform a kiss on the horcrux?
would that destroy the horcrux or would the dementor then become the horcrux??? interested to see what you think
