I think it would be a good idea to decide on content and have it be something that can take place at satellite locations. That way on one weekend or throughout one month many nerdfighters are doing the same things across the country at locations that they are more able to get to from where they live. groups can decide on locations based on group size in certain locations, but the main activities/crafts/team building/food?/discussions would all be the same.

what would the age range be? would it be for everyone- like older nerdfighters teaching younger nerdfighters? CAUSE THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!

This is almost as good an idea as puppy sized elephants!

I love this idea! I'm so happy someone thought of it, it's perfect!

And by camp ground, I mean one that is already staffed, budgeted, and comes with necessary facilities.

How about, instead of taking such a huge step, you organize a NF camp trip/weekend at a centrally located camp ground?
Then, if it's successful, you can make it annual/biannual/bimonthly as popularity dictates.

Then, NFs can find ways to raise money on their own or in local groups to cover their own travel and help pay for the activities expenses.

If there is enough demand for it, then you can start planning the camp. Otherwise, you'll be starting a VERY expensive business that will not have enough revenue to keep it running.

that is one of the MANY questions we need to answer Amy.
