I'm pursuing my master's in history studying the US Civil War, but I consider myself first and foremost to be a science and technology historian. I also work as a docent in a history museum.

I love art history to be specific<3 I love it when people randomly go off on a brief history rant. I admire it in a way. I'm all ears to those who just want someone to appreciate their history rants.

No, the scale and intensity of the conflict as well as some of the events are quite intriguing.

Is it strange that I'm not American yet I'm utterly fascinated with the U.S. Civil War?

School started again for me and I love my history teacher. I had him two years ago and he's bloody amazing. :D
I'm a complete and utter history nerd and we're doing my favourite subject now: Germany and Europe from 1815. He well knows I love history and he likes me, I believe. :)

Urgh. This is probably going to sound like shameless plugging! But I currently have a channel devoted exclusively to history. So if you're interested in America's margarine prohibition, the French King whose reign was ruined by comparison between his head and a pear, Victorian facial hair habits, and much more, feel free to give it a look....
