Guys, this isn't Twilight. Let's not make it become so.

What I mean by that is the worrying amount of 'Team Peeta' and 'Team Gale' stuff I've seen around the interwebz lately. It bares a concerning resemblance to the 'Team Edward' and 'Team Jacob' thing from the Twilight fandom. Come on guys, be sensible.

GAG ME WITH A SPOON! I hate that "Team Whoever" crap! Soooo dumb. I think it really shows how narrowly those people are reading HG, you know? Twilight is a romance, so it makes sense (not any less silly, but it makes sense) to pick a team because that's what Bella's doing, in essence. HG, on the other hand, IS NOT A ROMANCE. I don't know how children murdering each other could ever be constituted as a romance. Plus, Katniss even says she never wants to get married! Makes me sick when people make such fools of themselves.

I personally do not despise the Red v. Blue style of Gale v. Peeta, I understand where it comes from, however, I personally prefer reading the story as it was meant to be read, a story about a girl fighting for her life
