Permalink Reply by Amber Nicole on July 25, 2011 at 9:51pm Russian, German, and Danish are pretty awesome. I like the simplicity of most covers (black with gold mocking-jay pin), but these three really interest me. I think the russian one has so much emotion and I think it almost helps your thoughts on the story. I don't know, but I liked it.
I love the Japanese one, I think it's the most unique. Though, the Italian one gave me goosebumps.

Permalink Reply by Lindsay Ann on November 23, 2011 at 6:59pm I don't like the Russian cover as much (especially Katniss's shirt- that is not the arena shirt at all!) since it looks a little bit too romanc-y to me. The Hunger Games is about so much more than that.
I love the idea of having two different covers for the UK books, even though Katniss and Peeta look about thirteen years old in the drawings.
The Italian one scares the crap out of me! Is it just me, or are her eyelashes kinda freaky? (although Ashley is right that it would look better with different coloring!)
I'm not a huge fan of the Swedish one or the Romanian one. But they are far better than the Japanese! I mean, WTH? Why are her eyes green, why does she have this weird elaborate hair thing, why is her arrow pointing down while she's looking in a different direction, and why does she have those weird boobs?
I love the simplicity of the US cover (maybe it's just cos I'm from America Land) and the chinese cover is stunning. The German cover is kinda dramatic (looking at it again, I just remembered Katniss has gray eyes!) and so is the Dutch one. They're absolutely beautiful!

Permalink Reply by Samantha Denick on March 7, 2012 at 10:23pm I really like the German cover.
