@Jennifer Yoon I think they'd get the basics, but there were a lot of fairly major things that were never explained, such as who Effie was

Did anyone else think that the movie wouldn't make sense if people didn't read the book?

I just finished the first book a few days ago, and I desperately want to read the rest now. The ending didn't end nearly enough! There's so much stuff that has to be resolved or my brain will explode. I need to find and read the next 2 books as soon as possible.

Also, I think that the Hunger Games movie was the best adaption of a book I've ever seen.

Hi there :) If you wanted to get a THG shirt for your district, I've made some that you might be interested in checking out. (Also, even if you don't want one, I'd love feedback for maybe some future shirts :D)

I adore these books! I have been looking at them in the book shop for over a year, thinking that I should read them but never got round to buying them, as soon as the film came out I was like yeah Im gonna see it, might be ok, I LOVED the film and so bought all the books and ADORE them :P Why I never picked them up before I don't know but I was an idiot hehe

@Chelci I don't think the blood was that big of a deal, there are a lot of great movies that left out the blood. Ok I can only think of three
