I'd rate the movie a 9 because I loved it but I've only seen it once and that was at midnight so my judgement might be a little crappy. I loved it and I loved the shakiness but I wish we would have seen a bit more blood because it's supposed to be this really barbaric, bloody thing and even at the blood bath in the beginning it didn't seem to get that across.

so, between the movie release and my having read the books, my brother decided to buy them the other day.  he blitzed through the first in 20 odd hours, and is most of the way through Catching Fire tonight.

I thought the film actually did justice to the book, which is rare. I REALLY enjoyed it- the muttations made me jump though and I think they could've done the killings better too. But overall I liked it :)

I loved the books - I just finished Mockingjay last night, at 1am. Perfect ending, I thought. I didn't know how I wanted it to end, until it did. Suzanne Collins is just amazing. I hardly ever find books that I really can't put down (I'm almost sad they're finished). The cat completely undid me, which I thought was weird, and after that I was a blubbering wreck. Ha, I guess I'm an emotional reader.

I hope the movie's true to the book. I hope they don't try to change Katniss's character at all. Make her more personable or anything.

YES! Everyone I know is so pro Liam H! Peeta and Katniss were cast perfectly look wise though :)
