Feminism- this group is about it!

Somehow Feminism got a bad rap.  Some people seem to think that its about burning bras and hating men and never wearing lipstick.  Feminism is simply the "radical" notion that women are people.  Women deserve equal pay.  Women deserve equal treatment.  Women can wear pants if they want to.  Women can wear skirts if they want to.  Women should get to vote.  Women should get to work.  Women should stop being objectified as sex objects in the media, on commercials, in magazine ads.  Women should get to speak when they want to.  Women should think for themselves and not go home and ask their husbands what they think.  All women are beautiful.  All women are smart.  Are women are worthy!  That's what feminism is about.
