The Percy Jackson and the Olympians series is 5 books (they're not very long), but he's started a new series, not quite a spin off, called the Heroes of Olympus which isn't nearly as good, but it's got 2 books in it at the moment and another 2 or 3 to go. Don't attempt Heroes of Olympus unless you really liked Percy Jackson, the first book of HoO The Lost Hero, will do its best to put you off the writer. But Son of Neptune kind of redeems him. Which just proves, Rick writes better, when he's writing Percy.

Hey I'm Gryffindor too!

Also I know it's Dumbledore, the second is from the seventh book and I want to say the first is from the second or fourth book. (Though I'm not sure)

On a completely unrelated note:

You made a hipster girl as well! I recognize it! I made one (her name is Alaska)! :)

1. Name or Nickname or whatever you want us to call you

Celia

2. Age

15

3. Country of birth and country of residence

Both are the United States.

4. What makes you a nerd

I have deep passions for things such as music, art, language, literature, and LEARNING. <3 I love learning new words, learning about art and music periods, and reading and reading and reading.

5. Favourite thing about where you live

Lots of antique shops and an art museum nearby!

6. Do you blog/vlog/tumblr/any other site

No, but I should. I really want to start a blog.

7. Best part of nerdfighteria

Constantly being surrounded by other nerds! People who are so intellegent, creative, and passionate about what they love.

8. Top 3 books or book series

1. LES MISERABLES

2.Harry Potter

3.1984

9. Saying or quote you like

"Be like the bird who, pausing in her flight awhile on boughs too slight, feels them give way beneath her, and yet sings, knowing she hath wings."

-Victor Hugo

10. Which house are you in?

Ravenclaw, although I find Hufflepuff to be a close second.

11. Anything you think we should know about you?

I am an INFP, tea drinking lefty who loves art and hates can-openers. I'm learning ASL and wish to speak Elvish.

At the risk of not sounding nerdy what's INFP and ASL? Speaking Elvish would be cool. Personally I'd love to learn Ancient Greek, Latin and Herbew, all of which my uni offers but I don't have enough time to learn them all. Maybe I'll just be like the Librarian and stay in Uni until I get offered an exciting job hunting down mythological artefacts.

I wish I had lots of antique shops and museums nearby! The best museum in Australia (in my opinion) is 3 hours in a car away in Canberra. And the best antiques are a 3 hour flight away in Melbourne

Find Hufflepuff. I c what u did der!

INFP stands for Introvert iNtuition Feeling Percieving, a Myers-Briggs personality type. ASL stands for American Sign Language. I love the ancient languages, and would learn them all if I could(especially Greek, Hebrew, and Arabic, given my Meditteranean heritage)!!

I really am lucky. Antique shops, museums, and half-price books (are they only in the US?) are the grandest places in the universe, in my humble opinion...

So, are you a Starkid as well? AHA! ;D

But of course I am a Starkid. One of my goals is to make it to America to see one of their shows. But making it to America from Australia isn't that easy, especially for events that only happen occasionally. I'm hoping to make it to leakycon this year or next year too. Since I'm studying online now I have the flexibility to travel a bit more.

Yeah, half price books are only in the US. I miss them so much

Wouldn't a global tour be excellent? It would be quite difficult to get the funding for such a thing, unfortunately...

I hope they are still touring when I can travel more efficiently as well! Heck, if Lauren Lopez rolls on the floor when she's 40, I'll buy tickets. XD

Same here! What makes you want to learn American Sign Language? Any particular reason?

Really the fact that its a means of communicating visually is what drew me in (me being an art nerd, after all). The more I learn about the language and the culture, the more I love it.

Have you ever seen anyone use Australian Sign Language? I think its vastly different from American Sign Language. I know that the manual alphabet uses two hands, while ours only uses one.

I can't say I have. I think it would be cool though. I've just always wanted to be able to know another language that most people don't. I dunno, makes me feel special or smart or something. I love things that most people don't think about or think of as fun or cool. I just like learning new weird things

I share the same feelings about learning odd facts! And I love sharing them after the fact---spread the knowledge!
