I looked up their pod cast, and found it as a video pod cast, does it come as a audio only pod cast to? I would prefer that.
Anyway, exciting about that resolve uganda thing, I need to look into it a little bit more, I don't quite understand it yet, but I will.

How can you even avoid the civil war when talking about the government! O_O That's why it started in the first place! Crazy.
About the documentary: I used it as a primary source for my essay and got it from the library. I've seen it about two and a half times.
I hope the US plans help Uganda. Joseph Kony really doesn't seem keen on coming out any time soon, though. Hopefully if all this goes into action then he'll have nothing to do and have to face the charges against him instead of hiding out and saying he'll only sign peace treaties if everything is dropped. :/

Omg! Good stuff is happening, guys.

Let's hope this goes somewhere. Do you think this might have come about because of The Rescue?

:D nah i havent done that either! BUT YOU CAN GET ALL OF THEIR PODCASTS ON ITUNES FOR FREE! i have like 48 to watch. :D so then you can carry them around on your ipod and then show ppl or sumthin. but yeah they taught us about the geography and government. the end. they somehow avoided the whole civil war thing!

How can you talk about Uganda without mentioning the bad things? There's not much else to talk about of any substance is there?
I am so new to this cause, I still have a lot to learn. I feel fairly well and about Darfur though.
Did any of you by the documentary from the web site? I really want to but I have haven't gotten around ot to it yet. Did you watch the 30 minute preview documentary? If you haven't you should, it's really good!! It's cool that some more people have joined!!

haha i remember studying uganda in 6th grade but what irks me is that none of the things (like the problems with the lra and ic things) were mentioned! so if i bring it up at school, a lot of kids dont even have a clue what im talking about. i had my dad proof-read the paper i had to write, and he didnt even know what was going on! he just knew there were "issues".

Well, I heard of it being shown at schools (not at mine), and then I just got randomly assigned to Uganda for this project.
So if anyone wants to know some crazy amounts of info, I can probably tell you. O_O I was up to my eyes in it for about a month, trying to figure out all the wars (I still don't quite understand them all, since all the overthrows of the government seemed to take years and multiple battles).
They did get the one rebel leader in Darfur at the ICC a few days ago, though, right? He came voluntarily or something. Maybe he wasn't from Darfur. But in Sudan, anyway.
Uganda is another story. D: *sigh*
