It's a lovely, woody, pulpy, glue-y smell.

Lately I bought a second-hand old book. That one defenitely smells the best! It's from 1975 or somewhere around it:)
I found my great grandfathers copy of The Catcher in The Rye and it smells the best. The older the book, the better it smells.
sorry this has nothing to do with the group but I just want everyone to know
share this with everyone
make Kony famous
@Zeeshan It's perfect :D I accidentally hurt my nose 3 times while sniffing it the day I got it. Haha.
I have a lot of books in my house that are 40 years old or more due to my dad. I found one that was nearly falling apart and had yellow pages and smelled it. It smelled like the usual booky smell mixed with dust and history and awesome. Sensory overload. Also I'm among those who sniffed TFiOS before reading.
@Hanine I have just sniffed my copy of The Fault in Our Stars and can confirm that it smells as beautiful :D
None of my classmates understand my love for book sniffing. One of them even said that my The Fault in Our Stars copy smells like expired vinegar.
Hannah, I just LOVE the smell of new book + Sharpie!!!!!!
I just smelled the beauty of my signed TFiOS......ooooo. the smell of new book
Yoseriahippie, I knew that there were a lot of us, I just didn't know that someone had made a group for it. lol Also, I think it's spelled vinyl. I go to the campus library every once in a while just to smell that o so special smell. I don't EVER want paper books to die out.
