Comment by Sophie on May 7, 2012 at 1:28pm Lately I bought a second-hand old book. That one defenitely smells the best! It's from 1975 or somewhere around it:)
Comment by Lucy on April 19, 2012 at 4:00pm I found my great grandfathers copy of The Catcher in The Rye and it smells the best. The older the book, the better it smells.

Comment by Hanine ϟ on February 7, 2012 at 4:21pm @Zeeshan It's perfect :D I accidentally hurt my nose 3 times while sniffing it the day I got it. Haha.
Comment by Devina on February 7, 2012 at 4:05pm I have a lot of books in my house that are 40 years old or more due to my dad. I found one that was nearly falling apart and had yellow pages and smelled it. It smelled like the usual booky smell mixed with dust and history and awesome. Sensory overload. Also I'm among those who sniffed TFiOS before reading.
Comment by Zeeshan Ali on February 7, 2012 at 2:10pm @Hanine I have just sniffed my copy of The Fault in Our Stars and can confirm that it smells as beautiful :D
Comment by Hanine ϟ on February 7, 2012 at 1:48pm None of my classmates understand my love for book sniffing. One of them even said that my The Fault in Our Stars copy smells like expired vinegar.

I go to the campus library every once in a while just to smell that o so special smell. I don't EVER want paper books to die out.
