Nerdfighters

Hey there fellow nerdfighters. I am 13, and i am running out of books to read. I have only one left on my bookshelf to read then i need to get new ones. That one is Marley and Me and I'm in the midst of reading My Sister's Keeper so i was thinkin, where better to get resuslts for book recommendations than the nerdfighters who like talking about books group!? So if you have read or are reading any good books please let me know? It would be greatly appreciated

Love always

Ooh, you should get Garth Nix's books if you like fantasy. He writes for a younger audience (I read them anyways XD) and he's a great writer. Try the Sabriel, Lireal, Abhorsen series first.
If you haven't read Inkheart and that series, they're a good read.
My sister is fourteen and she likes that Stormbreaker series, so you could try that.

My Sister's Keeper is awesome, by the way! =)

I like Garth Nik's books, I met him once... he told this really cool story.

What Hel said: Definitely read the Inkheart series.
Another good book is: The Murder of Bindy Mackenzie and The Year of Secret Assignments. Both are by Jaclyn Moriarty.
Ooo....something else...Evil Genius by Catherine Jinks and that series.
Song of the Sparrow by Lisa Ann Sandell.
I'll probably think of more later. But those are good.
I recommend The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams and Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton. The Abhorsen series is great (agreeing with Hel). Hitchhiker's is in five books even though it calls itself a trilogy. Haha.

Hitchhikers is a great book, one of my favorites :)

You should definetely read the hunger games!!
YES! Hunger Games is good too!
Fantasy
Hunger Games by Suzzane Collins
The Mortal Instruments Series - City of Bones, City of Ashes, City of Glass by Cassandra Clare
The Demon's Lexicon by Sarah Rees Brennan
The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan

"High School" Life
The Perks of Being a Wallflower - Stephen Chbosky
Speak - Laure Halse Anderson
Sloppy Firsts, Second Helpings, Charmed Thirds, Fourth Comings, and Perfect Fifths all by Megan McCafferty

Classics
TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD!!!
Catcher in the Rye

More Adult oriented
The Historian - Elizabeth Kostova
The Time Traveler's Wife - Audrey Niffennegger

I'm sure I'll think of more eventually =)
Can you give me a synopsis of the, I think, series in the High School life section? In fact, all of those three and your opinions? Thanks!
I'm 13 also and I just finished rereading The Time Travelers Wife by Audrey Niffenegger for the 5th time so I would definitely suggest that. Also Black Rabbit Summer by Kevin Brooks is good... The Host is a good science fiction book (I know its by Stephanie Meyers but it's nothing like Twilight.), The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian by Sherman Alexie is also really good. I would also suggest Impulse and Identical both by Ellen Hopkins, both are pretty disturbing and both are written in poetry they're not the best writing but for some reason I loved them, they're probably more a high school book though. Also Shift by Jennifer Bradbury is a good mystery. One of Those Hideous Books Where the Mother Dies by Sonya Sones is pretty funny it's also written in poetry and probably not the best book if your looking for anything that involves deep thinking... It's definitely not one of my favorite books but a lot of my friends liked it.
yea impulse abd identical also have another, crank dont they? My friend read it and said that it was really good, and it was written in poetry, about drugs. and yea, i have a list of books i want to read, and the time travelers wife is on it. and my friend has read the host, she told me it was great.
yeah crank is also really good and yes its about drugs and written in poetry. impulse is about three 16 or 17 year olds who attempt suicide and end up all meeting each other. it's one of my favorite books. identical involves child abuse and some drugs so its pretty intense but i liked it. All of Ellen Hopkins books are about teenagers with manger problems. Also if you like science fiction the Uglies series is suppose to be good and so is the Midnighters series both by scott westerfeild i havent read either but most of my friends were obsessed with them last year....
