Permalink Reply by Emma Lund Rask on June 9, 2012 at 1:29pm I actually think that one of the saddest deaths I have read was Finnick Odair. It just makes me so sad, that we were just getting to really know him, and he was only just about to start his life, when everything was ripped away. I cried for days about that.

Permalink Reply by Emma Lund Rask on June 9, 2012 at 4:46pm Yes exactly!! And there are lots of headcanons on Tumblr about Annie and the baby and oh god... It's been four months since I read it, and it still cry about it sometimes! And it's the same with Fred Weasley! I still can't believe George lost such a big piece of himself. There should seriously be support-groups for mourners over lost characters!
Permalink Reply by Pamoda Wijekoon on June 9, 2012 at 6:02pm I would join immediately- I wish JK Rowling would have added stuff about George at the end of the Deathly Hallows because I have no idea what he would have done without half of himself.
Permalink Reply by Emma Lund Rask on June 9, 2012 at 7:02pm Yes, I totally agree. I think that they were so lucky to have their soulmate (platonic of course) in shape of their brother and best friend, and I just don't think George would ever really get over a loss of that caliber... I would have liked to see how the whole Weasley-family, and especially George dealt with it.
Permalink Reply by Pamoda Wijekoon on June 9, 2012 at 8:47pm I worry that they wouldn't be the same, I mean OF COURSE they wouldn't but, I hope they kept their fun, loud vibrant Weasley-ness, and that didn't leave with the deaths of their children.
Permalink Reply by Emma Lund Rask on June 10, 2012 at 5:01am I think they would all be quiet for a while, but the noices would slowly return to The Burrow. I'm not sure if George would or wouldn't participate though! I don't really have a headcanon for that! What do you think? :)
Permalink Reply by Pamoda Wijekoon on June 10, 2012 at 9:17am Knowing George, I think he will come back, eventually and maybe not as before but he'd return. Being like that was George's way and I don't think he'd totally recluse.
Permalink Reply by Chelsie Lacny on September 9, 2012 at 9:19pm Kartik from The Gemma Doyle Trilogy. It wasn't so much that he died that stuck with me... just the fact that he turned into a freaking tree. I remember literally throwing the book when I finished because I thought that was the most ridiculous thing ever.
Permalink Reply by Faith Dunn on January 14, 2013 at 7:11pm Finnick. When he died it felt like the world ended... l mean, he had just had his wedding, annie was pregnant... so cruel!!! Also Fred, Lupin and Tonks... All so sad! I read all of their deaths last year, and I still cry about it! If the deathly hallows (both!) were hard, I cqn't start to imagine mockingjay part 2... I swear I'll bawl my eyes out and probably get kicked out of the theatre I cry so hard...
Permalink Reply by The Inkling on January 16, 2013 at 6:12pm too true... oh and (spoilers cause I know that there must still be people out there who haven't finished Mockingjay) with the bomb... I had to stop reading for a few hours cause I was like "OH COME ON!!!"
