The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare

Hey guys!

I can't be the only Nerdfighter here who has read The Mortal Instruments series. What's your favorite book in the series? Who's your favorite character??

Also, I don't know if you've heard but I've heard people talking about how the books are bad and not good for children/teens to read because of supposedly "incest". What do you think about that? Do you think it was really incest with Jace and Clary? I don't really think so. 

And for those of you who haven't read it, should! It's a great series. It's YA Fiction about demons and people who fight the demons (called Shadowhunters) who cannot be seen by humans. Also there is romance for the people who like that element, too. 

Oh and the prequels, The Clockwork Angel series. What do you think about those? Have you read them yet or do you think it was pointless for a prequel? It's set in the 1800s, I believe. I like them. I think she's going to come out with the same amount of books for the prequel as The Mortal Instruments Series.

I just started reading them because I thought Clockwork Angel looked interesting (it was awesome!) So far I think they're great and I cant wait to finish them all!

I actually really enjoyed The Infernal Devices. Well, the first time, I read CA Before TMI and literally forgot it all, but the second time around I loved it and can't wait for CP2. I think it's only a trilogy, but that's what TMI was supposed to be and see how THAT turned out!

No problem!! TID is great and I think Clockwork Prince is supposed to come out either in November or next year. What did you think of The City of Lost Souls? That one really got me going. I was so angry and happy and scared and annoyed all at the same time. XD

COLS. Gah. Way too many emotions all at one! *SPOILER* Sebastien/Johnathon is my issue. I hate him, then as soon as I start liking him again, he does something crazyevilhorribleunbelivable and then you hate him again. But I dunno.

That was MY problem! I would say, "YES FINALLY I'M SO HAPPY!" and then something would happen and I would get up and just yell, "UGHHHH." I think he is bipolar. Majorly bipolar. *SPOILER ALERT-- BIG ONE* With me trying not to give anything away, what did you think about that big thing between M & A?? I hope you know what I'm talking about! If not, message me :)

But M kind of didn't really give him a chance, technically. AH! But you're right I wish A didn't go at all.

I've read all of TMI-books and TID-books apart from City of Lost Souls and I love them too!

I'll try not to be to "spoilery" about it but what did you think about City of Fallen Angels? Because I thought it had really boring passages...

I like the prequel much more, even though I think that all of the books that came out recently are a bit predictable...

City of Fallen Angels was my least favorite out of the series, actually. But I can understand why she made it have all those passages, kind of. The prequel is amazing! Who is your favorite character?? And you NEED to read City of Lost Souls! Like Pamoda said up there ^ It is so emotional. I was angry/happy/sad/scared/worried all at once and so much more. There are many twist in that one and then one surprising event between a relationship in the book that really shocked me. :3 You won't regret reading it!
