Tell everyone what you're reading currently, page status, and thoughts/comments on what you've read so far?!
I am currently reading 1984 by George Orwell.
I'm approximately 50% done. I am enjoying it so far. It isn't my usual genre, though. The dates and names are hard to follow, but it doesn't seem to prevent me from understanding the story. Winston and I would be good friends if ever we had the chance to meet.
Your turn...

Permalink Reply by Neha Rahman on February 6, 2012 at 12:04pm Oh my god, I loved that book. For some reason it really affected me. I dunno, I was kind of scared as I read it since everything felt so real. I almost thought we were actually running out of food or something, and I got really paranoid and I couldn't sleep. But in the end it was worth it because it is just so good. It was just really realistic and the fact that it was written in a diary format made it even more real.
I hope you like it so far. I loved it and it's definitely one of my favourite book of all time.
Permalink Reply by Lyra Sullyvan on February 6, 2012 at 12:14pm Oh my... That's exactly how I felt this morning. Scared to run out of food, worried about the proximity of the moon... But I can't help but reading it when I have a moment.
A friend lend it to me without letting me a choice, for now I'm glad she did! ^^

The Picture of Dorian Grey
When Nietschze Wept
So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish
Delta of Venus
The first one is a bit boring now but I heard it will get exciting, the second one is a HUGE disappointment, seriously, just don't read this book. The third one is okay, but the previous books I enjoyed more. The last one I am still in doubt of, because it's so full of contradictories that I don't know what to think of it.
Permalink Reply by Cassidy Creighton on June 8, 2012 at 8:26pm Currently reading Across the Universe by Beth Revis! It's pretty good, but I don't have time to read:(
Permalink Reply by Emily Miller on June 8, 2012 at 8:55pm I'm trying to get through Enemy of God, by Bernard Cornwell. It's the second book in his King Arthur series. It's very good, but it is kind of slow, so I'm trying to push through it. I'm hoping to start re-reading Lord of the Rings when I finish it.
Permalink Reply by Kris on June 9, 2012 at 8:06pm The Two Towers (Second in the LOTR trilogy) only on page 29, but I just picked it up.
