I've tried out a couple distros before settling with mint. =) I quite rather love it because it's easy to use AND very accessible, and in most distros I've tried it's either one or the other.

Just installed Ultimate Edition 2.8 and it is amazing. None of the bugs I was finding in Ubuntu are present, and a lot simpler config.

I have a flashdrive with knoppix on it and when I made it it just asked how much space to partition for preferences

@Supah Boy: I actually created a USB version of Lubuntu on a 4 GB Kingston flash drive; however I am unable to make permanent changes. I used a program to copy the files, so it always runs Lubuntu live. How exactly do you create a pen drive with persistent changes? It's never worked for me.
