Your favorite character(s)

So, easy question, what is your favorite character(s) and why? and then also, if you like the character from the book or the movie or both?

Mine are:

Aragorn - I love Aragorn because he is very strong, but at the same time he is a bit insecure about being becoming king. I like him in both the book and the movie, also I personally think that his film character is a little diffrent then his movie character. I am also totally happy about the actor Viggo Mortensen potraying him.

Eowyn - She is such a strong women, she breaks free from her cage and she gets together with Faramir ;) I like her in the book alot, in the movie she is okay.

I like them all in both the book and the movie, but I do appreciate that the books have more about Faramir, Eowyn and Eomer than the movies do.; ▶ Reply to This

Legolas, Elladan, Elrohir and Gollum.

Legolas, because I have fallen in fictional love with him. I am constantly falling in love with fictional characters and where LOTR is concerned Legolas is my true love.

Elladan and Elrohir because I find them to be hilarious in fanfiction and they are interesting being elven twins, there are many possibilities to be explored there.

Gollum because I think his character represents on of the most important elements in the whole story. He is what happens when you give in to temptation, he is what Frodo would turn into if he surrendered himself to the ring, the reminder of what could and will be if it is not destroyed.; ▶ Reply to This
