You've probably decided by now, but I like Conor.

Must write for tonight! I love NaNo. :-D

I have no idea how this happened, but... 5001 words. On the first day. :D This has never happened before!! Not that I'm complaining, mind you! :D

So, the other day I went for a bike ride and ended up sitting by the lake looking at this really awesome stormy, fall, lake view and I was like, "Wow, I need to write about this!" And I did, and it was good. I really liked what I wrote afterwards. I described the imagery beautifully, set an awesome scene, and then I thought to myself, "You know, this would go really well in a story, maybe I'll use it for Nanowrimo." And now I can't think of a plot. This has been happening to me a lot lately. I've been getting this urge to write about certain settings, situations, feelings etc., but they're just disjointed little blurbs that would go great with a story, if I could think of a story to put them in. It's very frustrating. Any help, opinions or advice on story/plot creation?

I tried NaNo last year and got to...3000 words. I'm going to be more dedicated this year.
