Hey guys! I'm hoping you're not all as dead as the group seems to be.

I have a question for you guys! I've read Good Omens (one of my favorite books) and Stardust (I enjoyed it but .. eh.). Anyway, given this, I still feel pretty new to NG and was wondering which book you might recommend? I've been thinking of trying American Gods next, what do you guys think?

Neil is getting remarried: to Amanda Palmer of the Dresden Dolls.

Thanks Terry, those are hilarious! Especially about WWII and Gaiman-ex-Machina.

...I did. Oops. Classic brain crossing the wrong wires. xd THAT story that I posted was for The Day I Swapped My Dad For Two Goldfish. Not entirely sure why my brain was adamant that I should post it, though.

Wolves in the Walls was his daughter Maddy's fault, and this is where my thoughts miscommunicated with my hands. See, she woke up from this nightmare one night, completely terrified and teary-eyed, and, when Neil came in to see what was wrong, she told him that wolves had come out of the walls. She was honestly freaked out, showed him the spot on the wall where they had come out and everything.

Neil, being the writer that he is, went and wrote down the first couple of sentences.

And that's the story I meant to tell.

Well, Neil had said one of those awful things to him like "Isn't it time for your bed time?" Of course, this deeply offended Michael. He got incredibly offended, all red in the face, and erupted, "I wish I didn't have a dad!" And Neil gave him this odd look. "What would you have, if you didn't have a dad?"

That made little Michael Gaiman pause, like he had never considered what else you could have. Finally he said, "I wish I had a... a goldfish!"

And so The Day I Swapped My Dad For Two Goldfish was born.

I adore the Wolves in the Walls! You know he got the story from something his son Michael said to him? It's adorable. x3

Ah, thank you. :3

And read them. All three of them are adorable and beautiful in Neil's subtle way, not to mention with Bret Helquist and Dave McKean's drawings :)

Taylor, I approve of your taste.
Thanks for pointing out the mistakes. I just copied it off Wikipedia and I haven't read two of the three you mentioned *ashamed*
