okay, my idea is to play Dungeons and Dragons over the internet, probably using a video chat of some sort. We could either have 1 team or we can form multiple teams.

The easiest way to learn is to play, but you should read a book that has the basic rules. I would link you to a download of the first player handbook, but that's against ning rules.
