Yeah, cow tongue was a fun one. I actually didn't know it was cow tongue until about halfway through. Reasonably tasty. Haggis too. Yum. I must ask, what on Earth is an Ostrich burger?

Ive had tinned tongue isn't that bad as long as you don't psych yourself out of it, I used to like muscles till one of my mates observed that they wouldn't eat them as they would have to eat the 'anus' ... yeh that kinda put me off them, the next time I had them just looking at them grossed me out.

And yep ostrich burgers are made of ostrich meat, they farm them over here and in Oz

6) Any odd habits?: I separate my food so they don't touch and I eat them one at a time.

A. Books?:I'll read anything I just suffered through some political book it was self inflicted but I started and by god I was gunna finish even if it took way to long to finish.
B) Movies?: I'm a movie freak I'll watch them all
C) Music?: Yes to all no to rap, some hip hop is ok.
D) TV Shows: Supernatural, The Mentalist, Suits, Franklin and Bash, Rizzoli and Isles, I love Lucy, Happy days, The Monkees, Kitchen Nightmares, Doctor Who, Top gear, Diner Drive-ins and Dines, Iron Chef, Dextor's Labrotory, this is just a few.
8) What are some of your favorite Books? Rifles for Watie, Angela's Ashes, Brave New World, Sherlock Holmes, Harry Potter series, Artemis Fowl series, Cirqua du Freak series, the list goes on.
9) What are some of your top movies?: Nosferatu, Hitchhikers guide to Galaxy..karl Pilkington would of made an excellent Arthur Dent.., Batman begins, Dark Night, Equilibrium, Pitch Black, Ip man sequal, this list goes on too.
10) Do you have any talents that stand out?: Not that i'm aware of
11) What things are important to you in life?: My family, my dog, my health, and if I had anbody in my life she'd be on this list
12) Attending College?:No but planning to go to Massage Therapy School soon

18) What do you believe in politically/economically/etc?:I really don't like getting into politics with friends but I vote every year
19) Where in the world have you traveled if any (even family camping trips to the backyard count) and is there something unique you can say happened in it?:Well my first camping trip ever was on angel Island in Ca. it's a five mile island and my friends and I manged to get lost on it
20) What is your favorite meal (any ethnic/holiday/alien meal counts)?: I love asian food, and Italian
21) What is the weirdest thing you've ever ate?:Turkey heart never doing it again
22) If you could have any job in the world, what would it be?:I'd be The Doctor and if that doesn't count as a job then i'd be a spy
23) What is the best first date you would take a person (points go for originality not cost). Or, instead, what is the best first date YOU would like to be taken to? Go to the beach and build a ginormous sand castle, swim, watch the sunset then take her to dinner

19---> Angel Island!!  I went there in fifth grade as a school trip.  I had so much fun.  We dressed up like union soldiers, and got to carry around those guns that were taller than I was.  The only part that sucked is that when me and a friend were doing our round at "night patrol" I got so freaked out by a raccoon that I screamed like a little girl.  Getting lost isn't too bad.  At least you were not eaten by rabid raccoons.

 It was after shooting the cannon that we got lost and that almost happened the night before cause one of my friends Bret decided it would be a good idea to throw granola and cocoa powder on the ground and then some raccoons started fighting, fun night haha. 1) Name: Nicki Simpson (please avoid the jokes about my last name, I’ve heard them all…)

3) Where do you live?: Northern Utah, USA

4) What are some of your hobbies?: writing, reading, video games, improve theatre, nature photography, travelling, and wandering around town trying to find new and interesting things.

5) What things do you look for when scoping a potential Significant Other?: passion for life and a genuine smile. And if he’s carrying a copy of Harry Potter around or wearing a Nintendo teeshirt, that’s a definite bonus.

6) Any odd habits?: I spend a large amount of time talking out loud to myself, occasionally burst into spontaneous awkward dances, compulsively fold things before throwing them away, and can usually be found writing scraps of stories on any piece of paper-like object I can get my hands on.

7) What Genre do you like in:

A. Books?: Harry Potter, specifically. More generally, I love YA fantasy – with the firm exception of Twilight – or just those cute YA books about real life that are told in a charming voice. And Mark Twain.

B) Movies?: Movies as a whole are just fantastic. I love fantasy and science-fiction, for some reason I really love book-to-movies even though they so rarely match up, Marvel superhero movies (and the Chris Nolan Batman movies.) Muppets and Disney movies. And I have a bad habit of watching horror movies because they are bad and make me laugh.

C) Music?: Starkid! That’s about my favourite thing to listen to along with other soundtracks from both musicals and Disney movies. In real music, I like indie rock and pop, and classic rock.

D) TV Shows: Doctor Who, Haven, Primeval, Warehouse 13... Wow, apparently my television leanings are very sci-fi-ish.

8) What are some of your favorite Books? Harry Potter, The Thirteenth Reality, Flipped, The Fault in Our Stars, Being Jamie Baker, and the Adventures of Tom Sawyer.

9) What are some of your top movies?: Tron, The Hunger Games, Inception, How to Train Your Dragon, and Clue the Movie.

10) Do you have any talents that stand out?: I’m a pretty good writer, I can say the alphabet backwards in under fifteen seconds, and if you start reading out loud a passage from any of the Harry Potter books, I can finish it from memory. *nerdfighter gang sign!*

11) What things are important to you in life?: creativity, curiosity, and the desire to decrease world suck for others.

12) Attending College?: Yes :)

13) If So, Where and what degree are you pursuing. If not what do you do?: I’m attending Utah State University, getting a Bachelors in Creative Writing with a minor in Sociology – or Psychology, I haven’t decided yet.

14) Religious or no?: No, but I’m incredibly fascinated by religions and very open-minded about it all.

18) What do you believe in politically/economically/etc?: Politically, I think I fall in with John’s statement of “just left of centre.” I’m not like a radical liberal, but I do spend a lot of time working with human rights’ campaigns.

19) Where in the world have you travelled if any (even family camping trips to the backyard count) and is there something unique you can say happened in it?: I haven’t gotten to travel a lot yet, but I have been to every state equal or west of Utah. I’ve been to Disneyland a surprising amount of times for someone so far from Anaheim, and did recently get the chance to visit both DisneyWorld Orlando and Denver, Colorado – although I was only in the latter for less than 24 hours to attend a Starkid concert. It was a fascinating trip though, especially the part where I was horribly lost in industrial Denver and Commerce City.

20) What is your favorite meal (any ethnic/holiday/alien meal counts)?: Salad bars. They offer enough options to eat a different meal every day!

21) What is the weirdest thing you've ever ate?: Rattlesnake meat probably, although it’s a tie with chocolate-covered crickets – they taste like peanuts.

22) If you could have any job in the world, what would it be?: A novelist would be awesome. But then again if we’re talking about random dream jobs, I think it would be cool to be a princess at Disneyland, because I remember how inspiring it was as a little kid meeting a hero in real life and I want to give that to others.

23) What is the best first date you would take a person (points go for originality not cost). Or, instead, what is the best first date YOU would like to be taken to?: I would just love to be introduced to something I’ve never done before, like visiting somewhere I haven’t been or trying out a sport or activity I haven’t done.

4) What are some of your hobbies?: writing, debating, reading, going on adventures

5) What things do you look for when scoping a potential Significant Other?: great conversation, passionate about something (it can be anything, or multiple things, but you have to care), and the kind of person who would go outside and play in the snow at 2 in the morning and not think it’s weird

6) Any odd habits?: For some reason I have to clean my ears like three times a day or it really bothers me

A. Books?: ALL BOOKS. Nonfiction, fiction, realistic fiction, fantasy, horror, mystery, YA, suspense

B) Movies?: Horror movies (both good ones and really terrible ones from the 80’s), thriller, fantasy, absurdist, comedy, dark comedy. Anything good or unbearably artsy. LOVE French and German film.

C) Music?: Indie, folk, jazz, classical, rock, Broadway soundtracks...my iPod kind of looks like it belongs to six different people. Mostly indie though.

11) What things are important to you in life?: my family (I have six younger siblings and I’m totally crazy about them), my friends, politics, fighting against the death penalty and for prisoners rights, making sure people are ok, debating, writing, reading, school, chicken, and being happy

13) If So, Where and what degree are you pursuing. If not what do you do?: Double major in STPEC (Social Thought & Political Economy) and Political Science, Certificate in International Relations, minor in Sociology

14) Religious or no?: kind of. Definitely spiritual anyway. Still figuring the rest of it out.

15) Am I missing any questions you'd like to see?: favorite smell. I just think it’d be funny.

16) Hero or Villain?: Hero! Which is to say that I prefer heroes, not that I necessarily consider myself to be one.

18) What do you believe in politically/economically/etc?: Pretty liberal, since I’m a fellow on the Obama campaign. Fiscally moderate with liberal tendencies, socially about as liberal as it gets. I absolutely hate the death penalty so that’s kind of my number one issue right now, but I’m also really passionate about LGBTQ rights and healthcare and reproductive health and freedom of speech

19) Where in the world have you traveled if any (even family camping trips to the backyard count) and is there something unique you can say happened in it?: Other than the fact that I moved nine times as a kid (Midwest to New England), really nowhere. I’m going to Rwanda and Uganda next year though on study abroad and I’m super excited!

20) What is your favorite meal (any ethnic/holiday/alien meal counts)?: four-way tie between Kebab e Degee, Chicken Vindaloo with Rosemary Naan and Samosas, artichoke dip, and chicken fingers.

21) What is the weirdest thing you've ever ate?: SO glad you asked! A pencil!

22) If you could have any job in the world, what would it be?: Some combination of author, political speech writer, NCADP lobbyist and prison rehabilitation developer. And I guess I would be lying if I said I didn’t secretly also want to be an FBI psychological profiler.

23) What is the best first date you would take a person (points go for originality not cost). Or, instead, what is the best first date YOU would like to be taken to?

I like going on really random dates. Mostly I like cliff diving and bumming around old bookstores and breaking into abandoned buildings to have picnics and seeing museums. But I’m pretty adventurous and generally up for anything as long as it involves talking a lot

23) What is the best first date you would take a person (points go for originality not cost).Or, instead, what is the best first date YOU would like to be taken to? I would love to sit down with someone, write out Nerdfighter notes, go to a book store/library and place them in our favourite books as we discuss the books we are leaving notes in, and then get a beverage fitting the weather and watch to see if people by the books with our notes.
