I have a goal in mind... and a reward once we reach it. =]

I've been thinking, and this is one of the most active and largest groups on Nerdfighters, and I have an idea as to why.
It is because we have people who are willing to step up and actually keep things going. Of course... we have a good motivation: the desire to fall in Nerdfighterlike. I think we can do it, but I think we need a wider cross section of people in our group. The more people we have, the better chance we have of being successful in our goal! So, let's fall in Nerdfighterlike! I think we should try to agree (majority rules) on a number of people we want to have in our group. Maybe we could get one of you supersmart Nerdfighters to figure out a number that somehow optimizes our chances of finding a Nerdfigter boy or girl for ourselves. I'm not sure how to go about that, but we can figure something out I'm sure.

Anyway, we can set a goal of how many members we want in our group, and once we reach that number, if we all feel satisfied with it, maybe... (HERE COMES THE REWARD!) we can have a few Nerdfighterlike gatherings.

I'm thinking maybe we can determine the areas of the country that have the largest distribution of active Nerdfighterlike members, and I can find one or two trustworthy Nerdfighters in that area to help me with coordinating and setting up a Nerdfighter gathering.

We don't have to worry about making it a speed dating thing or anything like that. If nothing else, at least we had a Nerdfighter gathering which will impress Hank and John, we've made new friends, and we've expanded our group and thus our chances!

It's an alternative song that we can pretty much all relate to. It's basically cute and fun, and it reminds me of Nerdfighterlike.
You can download it from here for free if you right click on the hyperlink and go to "Save Target As" on the little window that pops up. Then a download window should appear and you can save it to wherever you save your music.

Well, top priority would HAVE to be somewhere accessible. I don't want people to waste gas getting there or anything. Clever is good though... weren't there two Nerdfighters who fell in Nerdfighterlike and had their own Youtube channel? Maybe if we knew where they met, it could be like a good omen, other Nerdfighters being there.
Of course, they broke up so it might be bad luck.... also they were British, so we may have to fly, and that's out....

And having recently seen the Nerdfighteria Google Maps page, I can be pretty sure that we can reach a majority of the Nerdfighters if we hold the meeting/event thing in a big-ish town in the Midwest, say, Chicago. That's still a ways away from where I live (Michigan), but still close enough that I can convince my parents to go there on a summer trip.; ▶ Reply to This
