Nerdfighters

Please, Nerd fighters, tell me there are other people who think this is funny:

Two atoms are walking down the street and they run into each other.

"One says to the other, "Are you all right?"

"No, I lost an electron."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I'm positive."

I ask because I saw it on the Nerimon video here and laughed myself silly, then told my classmates the next day and they just looked at me like I was mad. PLEASE tell me this is funny and that I'm not alone :O

Also, what nerdy jokes do you guys have?

Its not really a relationship-y (is that a word?) orientated thread, but I think its important! :P

It's a very unique sound, you have to be like really close to hear it, or in a really quiet room
haha, those are great :)
:D so funny. I dont really like science but i can respect a good chem. joke. :)
I find this one hilarious. It's nerdy wordplay. I mean, what's not to like?

totally agree

My Favorite Nerdy Joke:
Three employees (an engineer, a physicist and a mathematician) are staying in a hotel while attending a technical seminar.
The engineer wakes up and smells smoke. He goes out into the hallway and sees a fire, so he fills a trashcan from his room with water and douses the fire. He goes back to bed.
Later, the physicist wakes up and smells smoke. He opens his door and sees a fire in the hallway. He walks down the hall to a fire hose and after calculating the flame velocity, distance, water pressure, trajectory, etc. extinguishes the fire with the minimum amount of water and energy needed.
Later, the mathematician wakes up and smells smoke. He goes to the hall, sees the fire and then the fire hose. He thinks for a moment and then exclaims, 'Ah, a solution exists!' and then goes back to bed.
Awesome

i loved this joke :D

haha i laughed

It made me giggle! :D I'm so telling this to my chemistry class!
'Tis rather funny ... I even told it to one of my science teachers last year ... because I'm that sad :P.
I've heard that joke before, Michael, and I still love it.

My own contribution, a more language-oriented joke:

A huge delivery truck overturned on the highway, spilling 30,000 copies of the thesaurus all over the place. Local newspapers reported that onlookers were stunned, amazed, bewildered, dumbfounded and flabbergasted.
