Anyone in the upstate area? I'm transferring to USC Upstate in the fall and am looking for housing and/or roommates. I was gonna move in with a friend in Anderson and take half my courses online but that fell through.

So, this is going to sound weird, but I'm desperate so here is goes. I am a college student in Raleigh, NC and my school doesn't have BBC America. The struggle is REALl! So, I was wondering if anyone knew about any cool viewing parties for the new Doctor Who in the Wake County area they could share with me. I'm not an axe murderer and last I checked I don't give people the heebee-jeebees. Thanks for your help in this my most desperate hour. DFTBA!

Hi all!! My name is James and I am originally from Phila., PA. I came to SC to attend Clemson U for grad school. I wish I had found out about nerd fighters sooner. I'll keep up with this group to know when there will be local Nerd Fighter meets!!

its a huge Renascence festival! this will be my third time going and my second time going in costume. and on one of the weeks there will be a chance to meet local authors as well as a costume contest.
