Is anybody originally from SC-NC?

Did you move here from another state, which state?

Do you like it in the Carolinas, or would you rather move back the state you came from?

Did you choose to live in the Carolinas? yes, no, and why?

I'll go ahead and start.

No

Yes, I moved here from Pennsylvania.

I like the Carolinas for vacation not living. Yes I would rathe move back.

No, my parents decided to move down here and as I am not old enough to leave the house, im stuck here.
Why, well im not a beachy kind of guy i like the woods and the snow and the cold and I pretty much left my one and only friend up in Pennsylvania along with my entire family except my parents, and one sister!
Born and raised in NC.

I do like it here. I've contemplated living elsewhere, and would like to (especially New York for a while, California for a brief while), but I'd always return home I think.

Didn't really choose to live here, but chose to continue living here in a way. I'm currently back in school, so I'm not going anywhere for the moment.
born in charlotte, nc. tar-heel, end of.

obviously didn't move here, but have lived in florida for a total of about two years, off and on.

i like parts of the carolinas, mostly the northern parts, at varying parts of the year. but there's no Mouse here.

for the rest of Uni until my grad studies (*hopefully*) in film/anim., i'll be here once more...so i guess i chose to live here. but...it's not forevs. sadly, i think few people who aren't retiring aim to be here long term. ^_~

Born and raised in Newberry SC.

So the answer to the second would be nope.

Yea I love living in the Carolinas. I love the diversty of just traveling from the coast up into the state that SC and NC have. Though I don't like hardly anything happens in the Carolinas unless its bad. We are pretty much forgotten compared to other states. Unless our representive for a political office or beauty pagent makes a dumb statement, or in the case of my towns case being the first bird flu outbreak in the U.S.

I've lived in Charleston, SC my whole life.

I like it alright, but I have some problems with it.

With any luck, I'll be leaving the state to go to college in Virginia in the fall...but I mean, Charleston will always be home in a lot of ways.

Born in Greenville, still in Greenville.

Yes, I love it :) We have a lot of variety from the mountains to the beaches and everything in-between. I also love how artsy downtown has become. It's lovely (well minus the drunks at night, but they're everywhere, I suppose)

Nope. My parents chose to move here from Charlotte, NC after my older brother was born.

Hello!

I'm originally from Maryland. I have lived here, here being Charleston, SC, for about 6 years.

I don't particularly prefer SC. Sure, it can be pretty and there is less of a chance of dying from frostbite.
However the bad far outway the good. I'll spare you from reading me rant about my various complaints of this state :)

I did not choose. At the time my mom made the choice to move here I was only an oblivious and naive ten year-old. Only in the last few years have I come to realize I dislike living here.

It's been/still is, a bit tough adjusting to it. The lack of many things, including snow and Slurpees :P However, I am making the best of it :)

i'm from Lexington, SC and currently attend school in Charleston.

The Carolinas are ok, but i definitely want to move out of state.

well, i was born here, but i could have moved out of state for college

I am originally from Phila., PA. I came to SC to attend Clemson U for grad school. I wish I had found out about nerd fighters sooner. I'll keep up with this group to know when there will be meets!!

I do, it is peaceful. All of my family is back up north so I am looking for jobs up that way when I graduate.
