Nerdfighters

Okay, I'm just going to start ranting here.

Whenever I go to a restaurant, the waitress asks me if I want a kids menu ... I'm thirteen, and I find it annoying when someone hands me a box of crayons and a kids cup with bendy straw. And the thing is, half the time, I'm actually taller the waitress. I really doubt that I look like a kid to them.

Who else here is often given the kids menu and how do you feel about it?

It hasn't happened to me, luckily. I also don't care about t he food of the kids' menus. I want real food, with a tad more culture than French fries and some kind of vegetables. I want real food! It also has its perks to want the food most kids don't eat, like candy, and a tour through the kitchen and a nickname. :)

At pizza Express, they give HUGE meals. (I eat a adults, all of it, along with adult dough balls and pudding) :D

The waitress asumes I gave half of it away or somthing and stares at my empty plate. :o lol.

No one asks me if I want a children menu ever. I'm 13 and look quite a bit older than I am.

I am thirteen and I don't usually get asked if I need a kids' menu... sometimes I've eaten off of it anyway just for the "kids eat free" discount when I go to dinner with friends... although usually I am with my younger sisters; I wonder if this has any influence on whether they ask me... If anyone asks me I just say, "No, thank you" and don't get upset. Somehow this sort of thing doesn't upset.
