Also, here is a dance blog with pretty much anything dance-related in it--give it a look or some feedback!
Thanks, y'all :)
I'm a competitive ballroom dancer, and I'm interviewing to be an instructor next week!
Anyone who need tips or encouragement on either fitness or dance in general, give me a holler!
I have been dancing since I was 3 (12 years) and I study at Salisbury Dance Academy http://salisburydanceacademy.com/ with an artistic director that studied at Kirov in Russia and became a professional dancer, so this school is hard-core for real ballet. We have many students who have become professional dancers. I want to become a biologist but ballet is something that I LOVE to do! I do ballet and jazz and want to do modern! :) I hope I find people who share the same interest and talent as me!
Been dancing since 4 (of course it was just creative movement but whatever) took ballet until I was 8 then stopped and took up theater dance (at the same studio.) Switched to tap alone for a year, and for the past 3 or 4 years I've done tap and musical theater :)
i´ve been dancing ballet for 11 years and this year im going to study to the Ballet National School of Cuba.
Ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and pointe for thirteen years!
I have been dancing since I was 6 and it's basically my life now. I do ballet, jazz, tap, musical theatre, contemporary, and hip hop now. Contemporary is my favorite and I really want to be a choreographer some day!
Irish dancer...just started to compete (Novice), but I pretty much live at the studio.
I started out with ballet and tap when I was really little, then continued with ballet until my parents pulled me out of it to do better in school/have a normal life. Then when I got to college I discovered ballroom dancing :D
I sincerely hope this group isn't restricted to those who dance WELL. Though I love to dance (it is an extreme passion of mine), I cannot truthfully say I believe my dancing skills to be worth seeing.
I started dancing when I was in 3rd grade and, though I had to leave the class, have never stopped since.
Don't expect any concerts (for my previously mentioned lack of actual dance SKILL still applies).
