I was just picked for the role of Gremio in my school's modernized slapstick of Shakespeare's 'Taming of the Shrew'. Then I got the news that my family is moving back home to Denmark. I have wished so long for that news to come, but f my life.

@Cass, my director's (spoiled) son is in my class. I know a thing or two about favorites. My theory is that my director only holds auditions to please the crowd and casts my classmate's friend as the leads. I never said anything about these guys being talented, mind you.

much as i'd like to have no idea what you're talking about Cass, yes, every envirionment is going to contain some bias.  i'm sorry for you and your friend.  for now, hard as it is, he'll have to deal with it and just keep developing his skills so that he can make someone (else's) bias work in his favor later on.

i was just cast as amaryllis in my school's production of the music man!  i'm understudying mrs. paroo (how's that for versatile :))  and the girl playing her has to miss a show.  i am freaking out!

Currently in a Theatre college class. Whhot whoot! were doing a pantomime and music combo thing where we let the music make the story and we act it out. Oh this is going to be great! =)

 we performed a play just yesterday and I'm going through my post-play depression now, I always get so sad every time a production is over, and this one was my favorite one yet!
