So living right near NYC is both a blessing and a curse.  It's a blessing because I'm able to get to the city to see Broadway shows, but a curse because as an 18 year old I don't have nearly as much money as I would want to see all the shows I want to see.  With that being said - Matilda the Musical, Anastasia, Aladdin, Mean Girls the Musical, Pippin (Revival), and Cinderella (Revival) are all opening in the next year and I want to see them all but can't possibly >./p>

My favorite musical is Les Mis.

I am a tech manager in my high school Theatre Department, and Sound in the drama department.

I act in a Yeultide Revels show (Also known as a madrigal)

This year we are doing THe Wizard of Oz.

In the past I have done Willy Wonka, Annie Get Your Gun, Caught in the Act, and 30 Reasons Not to Be In A Play.

Well, and "A Winter's Tale" is one of the apocrypha of Shakespeare for a reason- it IS very different from a lot of his other work! Good on your school for doing that one!

could be part of it, but mostly i think it's just that it's one of his less known.  even those who don't really know Shakespeare...and aren't good at following the Elizabethan dialog, at least have an idea of what will be going on if they go see Hamlet for example.

My school just did  Shakespeare's " A Winter's Tale". We did not have the best turn out but it was a great preformance. I seemed very different from Shakespeare's other work.
