Evening,

Just joined up and thought I'd say hullo. I do varieties of papercraft, some of which incorporates bits of pen and ink drawing, and play around with paper mache (for horns and crazy vegetation) and cardboard coffin building. Also, I find myself doing some rudimentary costume making from time to time (I'm a goth, albeit lowkey, but find occassions for spooky dress-up doing ghost walks). I sort of think of baking as a craft but suspect that it might really be its own thing.

Howdy. :-)

I have diverse interests, and not enough time, so I don't currently make a whole lot. That, and I'm easily distracted. I'm like a squirrel at a nut buffet.

I just started crochet, and am only practicing my stitches right now. I want to learn to knit, also, but one thing at a time, lol.

I do make slings--as in David and Goliath type slings, where you put a stone in the sling, whirl it around, and release. They need some improvements (like thicker leather pockets), but they work pretty well. At leeast, I think they do. My aim is terrible, so I really have no point of reference! :-P

I've also started to teach myself to draw, and I began with Chibi-style anime. It seemed to be a basic style, and a good place to start. Doing okay on that. I want to work my way up to comic book-quality work.

I also love steampunk, and am currently looking for projects that don't require a large money investment or fancy tools. I have basic tools (pliers, screwdrivers, a hand-held wood saw, hammer, that type of thing) and a generic dremel w/ a crappy battery pack (I really need to get an -actual- Dremel). I welcome any links or directions or anything related to projects that fit in these parameters.

And I'm glad to be part of your group of clever, crafty persons! :-D

hey! I am a goldsmith, but unfortunately don't practice it right now. I love to sew and have made some clothes, but prefer to make costumes. does anyone know about a blog or something where they made babydoll's costume? (from sucker punch)

I currrently play a few different mmorpgs (my pic being from LOTRO) and because of this it inspired my friend rowan and I to make a podcast on youtube which talks about games. I know that nerdfightaria is a place for passionate nerds i thought that the nerdfighters in this group may appreciate http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ga_vzixLlIE&feature=plcp If any of the nerdfighters here like this video please subscribe and look further back in our history for more videos and tell me what you think

I like to sculpt and make things like jewelry from Sculpey clay. I've started sewing recently, and I'm starting a mlp quilt soon.

I have basic knitting and crochet skills (nothing fancy, but I get along) and a sewing machine. I like do make Amigurumi, little crochet figures. So far I´ve made a Dragon, a pig with wings and an eyepatch, a Kirby, a baby chicken and a cute little cthulhu. Right now I´m working on an Adipose, but I the arms are quite difficult.

I like making canvas + yarn things, my last was a ghost for Halloween. I also love making bracelets, I'm going to upload pictures of the last 3 that I made into an album called "Crafts" soon. ^_^

I crochet and just do random crafty things. I'm a nanny, so I have to do a lot of crafts with little ones. Right now, I'm crocheting a Gryffindor scarf for a Secret Santa thing and also a version of a Luna scarf. I make a lot of baby hats for newborn photogs and preemies at the hospital. I'm currently renovating a room to make it a craft room! Hooray!

I like making all kinds of things, right now I am experimenting in making earrings out of paper and nailpolish, so far it has gone quite well ;)
