Hi my name is Jacque. I have Aspergers. I am a little disappointed that only 25 people are in this group. I have a pretty good understanding of things if you have any questions. I am on the high functioning side of things and have made tremendous progress in the last few years. I am starting day one of my first real job tomorrow. It was gotten to a point where I seem neurotypical to people who are just meeting me. I don't know if you're aware of the fact that AS presents itself differently in girls. I have meet several boys with it which has helped me understand me. If you want I will do my best to explain anything autism related. I can also recommend a few books and movies and things.

Well This is deterring I guess. 1) no posts since near my birthday and 2) The AS logo... I signed up here because I thought maybe I could get better idea and thoughts about things to talk about with Asperger's Syndrome specifically but autism in general for my Advice videos on Youtube.  Not sure if this is still an active group, being almost 8 months idle.

@Jodie_Wood  I have heard there not the nicest organization. I don't normally pay attention to any article they post ... so i don't truly know first hand..

I have Asperger's and I'm a nerdfighter. Shame about the logo here - AS is a pretty nasty organisation.

I think I have Asperger's but I never got a proper diagnosis or anything.

I'm Aspergers, but I had a lot of therapy as a kid, and now in high school you can barely tell. I still have a thing about eye contact and large groups of people though.

Well, I was diagnosed with autism at age three and high-functioning at 12. I have been struggling with it for three and a half years since having it makes me the target of many jokes that are terrible.

I was diagnosed in 7th grade (about 3 years ago). That cool to hear you are dong well in college despite it :)

Yay, it's so awesome to know that I'm not alone on here. I was diagnosed with Aspergers in 3rd grade and have spent the last decade struggling with what that means. I am now proud to say that I am a rising Junior at one of the most prestigious colleges in the country, thanks to my great support network.
