We all get it. "Nerd" has a somewhat negative and stereotypical connotation. "Intellectual badass" just sounds. . . Well. . . . Badass.

No longer the suspender-wearing stereotype of the mixed-up world of movies, we have grown and adapted to this mixed-up world where the intellectually gifted are usually surpassed by physical attributes. This cruel fate has left us with nothing else but to twist and re-shape the modern-day image of the once so-called "nerd". "Nerd" is now somewhat of a word of praise more than of ridicule, but we can do so much better than that. Our clothes and addictions have now become trends in society. Abandon the past and move on, we're not nerds, we're intellectual badass'.
