Oh, we definitely do our best to pay.  But, sadly, my summer programming budget is less than my monthly rent . . . So a great deal of stuff is done through donation or grant funding.  So, there is that to deal with.

As for a NF concert this summer it just isn't something we can swing.  I'll be looking more for the normal school year.  If you find anyone who might be interested in that sort of thing, please send them my way . . . maybe we could figure something out.

I am assuming this would be a volunteer thing? I will get on social networks to see if anyone would be interested/available for this.

Hey Zach!  We're looking at July 19th or 20th.  But, I think it may just be too late at this point to swing something.  So, we're gonna try something else.  Maybe try for a NF concert next year . . . see about some grant monies and what-not.   That said, if you know of anyone, we can certainly try to get something going for the regular year's schedule.

Gordon - what is the date of your concert for which you need NF musicians? I am a music graduate student at UNO and while I probably don't have time to put together a group, I might be able to use my connections to find something for you.

Hey there, Omaha Nerdfighters!  Wish there were more of us representing here, I'm sure their out there, though.

I have an Omaha related problem that I'm hoping some of you guys might be able to help me out with.  I'm the young adult librarian at the Bellevue Public Library and I am looking for a nerd rock group that is based out of the Omaha/Lincoln area to perform at a concert for my teens at the end of the Summer Reading Program.  Any of you great people know of any people that might fit that bill?

I'm actually a Lincoln Nerdfighter, but if I can go to Omaha for shows/book signings and the sort...I can kind of count (since LIncoln has nothing going on) right? :D
