Permalink Reply by Kelly on January 19, 2012 at 5:01pm Honestly I'm not really bothered by them, there's not much that's really bad that's said about us. What really gets on my nerves is people calling us American.
Permalink Reply by Mathieu Tondreau on March 18, 2012 at 9:00pm I actually find them funny cause most of them are true and it's stuff we don't notice about ourselves that others do!
Permalink Reply by Lindsay on December 23, 2012 at 3:19pm I try to perpetuate them. I enjoy making people think I have a pet polar bear or that I live in an igloo. But I do really like the stereotype that Canadians are incredibly polite.
I have to agree with Kelly that what gets on my nerves is people thinking we're Americans.
Permalink Reply by Kaila on December 31, 2012 at 9:14pm I love them. I can't get enough of them. I find them hilarious. The ones I've heard have been harmless, bordering on good. Besides, I do know John from Newfoundland, or at least I will. One life goal, go to Newfoundland and find a man named John. Also, how awesome is it that they think we ride Polar Bears--I say, preserve them at all costs.
Anyways, what's your stance on them?
