I watch in Japanese with English subs because the english voice actors are never as good. I always pause to read translators notes; I like that we can get the jokes even across a language barrier.

Ahhh!!! When I saw this I was thought "No way" and made this expression XD!!!

I love the Tamaki's flanboyancy (is that even a word o.O)  and all the inuendos... and that it took him a whole episode to figure out she was a girl... I must have watched the serie at least 3 times XD <3 it makes me laugh every time!

i started watching it in japanese with subtitles and then switched to english because that was what my dvd came in... but the second half of the season i watched with subtitles again. you're right, the dubbing's not as awesome as the original. although sometimes i had to pause it to read all the translations popping up.

I watch dubbed for Ouran but for everything else I read it first and the dubbing just sounds wrong.
