Chartering a bus to VidCon
Hey all! My friend CJ and I are attempting to get enough people together to charter a bus to VidCon.
Basically, we realized the main reason that we cannot attend right now is due to the astronomical costs of travel from PA to LA. For instance, the cheapest price I have been finding for one person to fly to LA from here, round trip, was $520. Sure, it's do-able, but I'm paying for my little brother and possibly my girlfriend, so BOOM -- there goes $1560. Don't have it.
We're hoping that if we get 20-25 people interested in this that the round trip cost for travel would be lowered enough to allow everyone to go. Also, we'll be sharing a room there... and I'm sure that by figuring out all the people who might go on this bus there will be even more networking possibilities to share rooms.
I'm waiting on quotes and whatnot, but, for now, is anyone interested in this? We'd MOST LIKELY be leaving from Philadelphia, but maybe we could work something else out, I don't know.
Also, if anyone can get this out to Hank/John, that'd be super sweet. I'm friends with Dan Brown, so I'll be talking to him once we get some prices and details.
But, okay, thoughts? Anybody thinkin' this could work? What potential issues could arise?

I would be interested in the bus, but if this doesn't work out, i know you can get roundtrip tickets on air tran for around 365 from baltimore and 475 from philly. if you can bum a ride with someone going to otakon then you can save about $100 or $200 in your case.
