Pluto has 5 recognized moons, which is more than any of the four terrestrial planets can say for themselves. Plus, it's bigger than Mercury. So why hasn't Mercury been demoted to "dwarf planet"??
I grew up learning the Pluto is a planet. I am becoming a teacher, and I will teach my students about the long forgotten planet. And I will be DAMNED if my genetic offspring ever think that Pluto is not a planet.
I'm joining this group not out of disregard for science, but out of respect for my childhood and the person I used to be.
I found out that my Granfather used to know the guy who discovered Pluto! Which got me really, really, really excited!!!
Pluto has the awesomest orbit ever, and therefore is an awesome planet!! However this fact may cause me to fail my ES Regents.
Pluto was discovered in my city, where I happen to have lived for my entire life. I think Pluto is a planet.
It's like my entire 5th grade science project was a lie...
I think it's stupid who they don't consider Pluto a planet anymore!
