And by Berkshire Nerdfighters, I mean those who live in the Berkshires. Not those who go to the school, the town, or the region of the UK.

Emily Dickinson changed my life.

And all of you UU/Berkshire nerdfighters. There's this amazing woman named Jan Hutchinson who published a book of her work last year. It's very UU and also completely beautiful.

Ahh poetry... I love it. I write a bit of poetry. I try to make it funny but sometimes it gets a little sinister... It annoys me so much when people don't believe that I wrote it. Everyone thinks I'm an idiot with no talent because I muck around. When I try, I'm highly intelligent. How I hate being falsely labelled.

I absolutely adore writing poetry, as well as reading it. Both can be so cathartic...although the stuff I write tends to be very dark.

Never thought this group would be made, but I'm glad it has. I'm more of a writer than a reader of poetry and it usually comes out in a form that can only be read at slam competitions. I love writing poetry so this should be a fun group. XD
