I love Pokemon Crystal best, I think. I have, however, only played Generations 1-3, because I don't have a DS. I don't have an Advance either, but my little brother does (along with Ruby) so I've played that.
Yesterday I was talking to a friend on the phone with whom I almost never talk on the phone, and she was reminding me that I hadn't ever sung for her the way I had apparently promised I would, and she told me to sing the theme song for my favorite TV show. I couldn't think of any, so I started to sing the Pokemon theme song. Now she won't stop teasing me about it.
And on the way home from the sports center where I was (I'm at university, and a group of us had gone to play soccer but my friend had called me with an emergency so I just talked in the stairwell), my friend Ben told me I was a Pokemon and when I asked which one he said Gyarados. I don't think I've ever been so flattered by him. Gyarados is a bad-ass.
Yeah, I'm cool.

Ruby was actually one of the first ones i started playing and i ended up losing it. I just think the storyline and pokemon are better in these versions.
