Project for Teen Awesome

I came up with this idea a while ago.

I often think that the world can occasionally be unfair to teenagers. I want to decrease worldsuck, but I don't know how to go about it. I don't have enough money or the correct bank account to donate to any charities, I can't vote to decrease suck levels in my country, and basically the amount of stuff I can do is restricted by school, my parents, and my age.

So I've been thinking: how does a teenager go about decreasing suck levels? And I believe I have the result

Many people have horrible jobs. I was a checkout chick for almost two years, and it really sucked. Telemarketers have horrible jobs. Waiters/waitresses have horrible jobs. Receptionists at big places like hotels have horrible jobs. Taxi/cab and bus drivers have horrible jobs. All these jobs have one thing in common. These people work tirelessly day after day trying to help other people and make our day a little bit easier, and while they do get paid for it, that doesn't really make it any more fun. They rarely get thanked. They often get abused.'I think the biggest way in which teenagers can decrease worldsuck that requires nothing but basic speaking abilities and costs no money is to say thank you to everyone who helps us. Teachers, drivers, parents, canteen ladies... Anyone.

There. I challenge you to say thank you to everyone who helps you in a day, because while it doesn't detract from yours, it makes theirs a whole lot better.

There's also a search engine called goodsearch ( that will donate a cent to a charity of your choice for every (web) search you do. If enough people started using that instead of Google or whatever you normally use then we could raise a lot of money. I've been using it for a while, and it's as good a search engine as Google and does a lot more good in the world.

Who's with me?

hi guys. i just joined. i feel like most people underestimate me because i'm a teen. i have problems with panic attacks sometimes so people including my parents think im weak and incapible of doing anyhing important. i hope that by joining this group and being around others like me it might help me disprove them.

Also there's a site called the hunger site which allows you to click a box and view an ad. the sponsor then donates money to the site which donates money to the charity's involved there's 8 boxes to donate to 8 charity's a day if the nerdfighters in this group can spread this to other anti-worldsuck groups we might get 100 extra clicks a day on the site from it
