Someone said something about how only nerds like Maths to my Maths teacher, and he said that nerds rule the world, so I wrote

www.youtube.com/vlogbrothers"

on a piece of paper and put it on his desk.

Also I wrote some of the lyrics to Song About An Anglerfish on a piece of paper and stuck it on the wall near where a girl sits, and she doesn't sit with other people, and when we ask her to she refuses. People think she's lonely but I think she's alone but cool with it.

@Zombie Rave Party: Just noticed your comment...(yeah, I haven't been to this group in a while) and just want to say that what you're doing is amazing (hope you're still doing it). Definitely going to check out Stickham...

I just got back from a trip to New York and it definitely made me think about encounters with other people. I live in the suburbs so generally when I go on a walk I don't see anyone, whereas in NYC you pass dozens of people just walking down the sidewalk, and all the skyscrapers, all the pinpoints of light, are boxes full of so many more, each pinpoint a window to someone's room somewhere...

Yeah. I miss it already, and I wish I had more chances in my daily life to make things better for the people around me. But I tell myself there are tons of opportunities, and it's just a matter of seeing more of them.

@Campion: That's awesome. Keep it up.

Told a random girl on the bus that she was beautiful. I guess I just felt like it

I came across a website called Stickam last night. For anyone who doesn't know it, it's a lot like ChatRoulette but without the nudity (for the most part).

I spent over 6 hours holding up a sign to my webcam... My arms felt like jelly, I didn't go to sleep until past 2am, and I just found out today that I was banned from the site. BUT I also was told by three GUYS that they *needed* to see my sign, and one girl told me she was thinking about suicide until she saw it.

Oh, and the sign? It said, "You're Beautiful."

I'm trying to find out why I was banned, but I'm already making a new account and doing this again all day today, as well as every other day for as long as I can.

Money's just a measurement of a misconception that goes much ddeper, I'm afraid.

Yep...when you realize that everyone has their own world, and their own pain and joy

To tell you the truth, I hate money. It's what can tear the world apart, it heightens greed, and it's the loss of it that can ruin people's lives. Yeah, I know, I'm weird.

Haha, yeah!

Maturity is also when you think that maybe there is more out there than yourself and your world... it's when you expand your grasp on knowledge and follow what's right, not easy. (I'm a big Harry Potter fan, as well. XD)

I think we're wrong to even rely on money for happiness...as Douglas Adams says "it's not the little green bits of paper that are unhappy."

It gets easier when you're in a group, too!

Hehe, thanks...maturity is just when you start looking at people besides yourself.

Yeah, I know. My family is currently struggling with financial problems, but I'm not going to let it bring me down. I'm sure others feel the same way, and I'm happy for that.

That's true (wow, I say that a lot). They're nicer when they're alone, which they never seem to be. However, if they are alone, then I don't mind showing myself. They actually appreciate what I do and they're kind to me, but in a group they're just unbearable.

Wow, you sound so mature. ^^; It's cool to talk to you, though. :D

Just so long as you know that how much money someone makes or doesn't make has nothing to do with how happy they are...and it sounds like you know that ( ;

It's a lot harder to do things for people when they don't appreciate it...It sounds like you're being wise about holding back but don't be afriad to totally surprise them by doing something amazing...

Haha, that's awesome!!! :D

I don't mean to separate them... I moved here and it was called that. I was pretty reluctant for a while to call it the "poor part" because all of the nicest people were there. However, I guess being around people who say it a lot has gotten to me. -.-; That's true... everybody does need an extra pickup. I just wanted to help these people first.

That's true, really. The thing is, most people here are sort of mean and snotty, so if you do something nice for them, they try to make you your slave. So, I work for everyone anonymously. I would probably reveal myself if the people here were a bit nicer. *sighs* No offense to those people, of course; I'm sure they all have good hearts, but they just want to act cool.
