I was really happy to see that the are extending the Blue Line down to Cosumnes College. It will run like a block away from my house. I'll probably not be here when they actually finish the thing, but the thought that I would not have to drive down to Meadowview and pay for parking there, is a real nice one.
Hey, guys. I just recently started a vlog and I would really appreciate it if you would go check it out. Here's the link http://youtu.be/f3Nq5zj3i9c :)
We visited our grandmother for her birthday and had ice cream cake. Then we went to the golden corral, which was awesome, and just chilled with at home with the family.
Mine was awesome. Spent most of the day playing something called Munchkin and other card games with my brother, sister and her boyfriend. Fireworks were great, and we spent almost an hour watching them and singing like crazy people. It was one of the funnest 4th of July celebrations in years.
I live in this gated community, with quite a few families, so I really like the 4th here. If you didn't buy anything, you can basically just walk the streets and watch other people's fireworks. And once those are over, me, my brother, and my sister, go over to the little "park" in the middle and lay on the benches and watch all the firework displays. We kind of live in the middle of a bunch of different shows, so that we kind of have them going off all around us. It is nice.
And then me and my sister get loopy and start singing at the top of our lungs. Last year's crowd favorite (I think the crickets really loved it) was God Save the Queen (what can I say, I'm not normal on the most boring of days). I didn't know half the lyrics, but it was hilarious anyways.
I have been banned from singing in public.
Or dancing....but that is another story.
you guys have anything interesting planned for the 4th?
we got some local stuff done, but nothing real major (I guess there was the senator race). Oh, and did anyone see who won the mayoral race??
it was probably (at least partially) a result of the presidential primaries already being decided.
