things that make you say "ahh!"

In Karmic balance to things that make you say Phhhht, I wanted a discussion for happier things. Like "ahh, I'm home with my family now". Or "ahh, a nice person at the grocery store offered me a sample of some pears yesterday, and they were really good.". Not that there is anything wrong with venting about loopy bagging practices. I just want to spend some brain power on happy things too. So what is going well for you all?

Permalink Reply by thefirstofmany on November 12, 2009 at 9:47am: Indian bedspread -- purchased two this summer in the lovely hippie town of Pahoa on the Big Island of Hawaii, I highly recommend you make a trip. (If you're thinking about it, there is an amazingly affordable B&B, but it is women only and you might smell pakalolo in the air as you drive thru the sugar cane fields to get there (read: stay on the road and mind your own business). I am REALLY trying to get there again before spring.

Sophie is our old girl and I suspect that Ninja-Geisha snuck in and permanently painted her lovely white masks. Bella is the baby, we've had her since she was four weeks old (just over a year) and we have been sickeningly, disgustingly, sappily in love since the day we brought her home. Sophie runs cold and Bella runs hot, so we love it when they snuggle up there together in the sunshine.; ▶ Reply to This
