Ah. The pool. They obviously don't die, the series being recommissioned, but what does happen? The Moff, nor Gatiss, come to think of it is not going to take the easy way out when push comes to shove, but it wouldn't be Sherlock without Sherlock, so, who can say what happens?

I've been thinking about that too. I think that Sherlock should shoot the bomb and that they (Sherlock and John) should jump into the water... But that might be a bit too obvious.

I don't want to wait untill autumn to find out. :(
But then again, it's worth it!

There's not an awful lot of ways to escape, really. but, being in the esteemed position of 'signal piggybacker,'  I see them in July. Oh yeah!

Sorry, stupid Belgian girl here :) What's a 'signal piggybacker'?
Must be quite awesome if it means you get to see it in July!

'Tis. Basically, I am in proximity with Auntie Beeb,(BBC) so I get the signal.
Sherlock's lovely brother, who is supposed to be stalking him so should know that he went to the pool in the first place will maybe come to the rescue with lots of armed backup! OR...the bomb isn't actually a bomb and Sherlock knows this and...and i don't know...way too excited though, almost wished i hadn't seen it before series two is out, now i have to waiitttt!!!
I'm very curious too. I'm mostly wondering, though, how do Sherlock and John avoid being shot by Moriarty's snipers?
If there's anything we know about the Moff from Doctor Who two parters, we know he loves easy fixes for cliffhangers. It will be resolved in a few seconds, or even in a flashback. The series opener is based on A Scandal in Bohemia, I think.
