I also thought I didn't like tea up until about a year ago when my best friend's mom (her mom is from England) decided I needed to have some. Now it's ridiculous the amount of tea we have in our house, because I wanted to try absolutely everything. :)

I thought for pretty much all my life that I didn't like tea, that was until a little over a week ago I took a trip to England. In London we went to this fancy tea room and I had a cup of tea and now tea is pretty much my best friend. :) I haven't tried too many different types of teas yet (I unfortunately have a bit of a sensitivity to caffeine, so I mostly drink teas that are decaff), but right now I'm having my first cup of Earl Grey (and it is very good). :D

My family originates from Ostfriesland, which is at the western coast of Germany. People there drink a lot of tea and they have a special little ceremony about it which I really love. It´s not as elaborate as a chinese tea ceremony, but it´s still a nice little thing to do.

I myself drink a lot of blck tea, usually whole leaves, often flavoured. My favourites include vanilla, orange, cinnamon and the classic Earl Grey. I can´t start my day without a mug of simple black tea though. Oh and I like my tea without any milk, surgar, cream or lemonjuice.

I got into tea drinking at a young age because of my great-grandmother, she was British and drank it all the time. Whenever I would go over to her place she would make me a cup of tea with some milk and sugar because I thought it tasted weird at first. Now it's the only other thing besides water that I drink on a regular basis.

My tea biography.

When I was younger I loved tea I drank it a lot with milk and two sugars but as time went by I took a break from it and found myself unable to enjoy the taste and warmth. Over many years I tried and tried to enjoy it (with the help of my grandad) but it wasn't going well. Then one day I made a decision to make some tea I like or die trying, after several attempts I found it, the tea I would from then on drink... Milk one sugar! From then on I set about increasing my tea drinking which was greatly helped by my work internship at a marketing company. Today I can even taste cheap tea and different brands in my current part of the epic tea drinking journey of life.

True story :)
